Expert Optometrist Dr. Shelly Cadman
Dr. Cadman is an optometrist in Riverton providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities. Dr. Cadman is a native of Fremont County. She graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1987 and attended Central Wyoming College. She transfered to Pacific University College of Optometry in 1991 and graduated in1995 with her Doctorate of Optometry. She practiced for three years in Albuquerque,NM specializing in contact lenses. She returned to Fremont County in 1998 and practiced at the Indian Health Service clinic until opening her private practice in 2014.
As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Cadman provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Cadman is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Cadman is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Cadman works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Cadman's dedication to continuing education that our Riverton patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
